to protect the safety, security, and integrity of users, school systems, and the app;

5. AI Services and Third-Party Data Sharing

If a user uses the AI Chat or AI-guided support features, information entered by the user, such as chat messages and related context necessary to generate a response, may be transmitted to a third-party AI service provider.

This information may include the user’s messages, account-related identifiers required for app functionality, and relevant context needed to generate a response, apply safety handling, or support moderation.

We use this information to generate AI-assisted responses, support app functionality, and apply relevant safety or moderation measures where applicable.

We do not sell this information. If third-party AI services, hosting providers, analytics tools, moderation tools, or other vendors are used in connection with the app, their processing of data may also be relevant to app operation. We aim to use providers that support appropriate security and privacy protections, and we expect such providers to provide the same or equal protection of user data as described in this Privacy Policy.

Where required, the app may request user permission before sending personal data to a third-party AI service.

6. Data Sharing More Broadly

We do not sell personal information.

BBS Wellness AI may be used in a school context by students, including minors, under school-managed processes. The app is intended for school wellbeing support, reflection, and guided self-management. It is not intended to provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or emergency response.

If information relates to students, Bina Bangsa School expects that such information will be handled in accordance with applicable school policies and relevant legal obligations for student data.

8. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the app, maintain school records where applicable, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce policies, or protect safety and security.

9. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to help protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. However, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

10. User Choices and Requests

Users, parents/guardians where applicable, or authorized school representatives may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of information, subject to school processes, legal requirements, and operational limitations.
