11 August 2022 - BBS Bandung held its annual election for the Student Council President and Vice President. This academic year, both the campaigns and the actual election were held onsite where all students voted for their preferred candidates. 

Meyke Ingrit Purboyo (JC 1 Logic) emerged as this year's SC President and Eugenia Verrencia Suwandi (JC 1 Teamwork) as the SC Vice President, both under the party 'The Aimers'. 

In an interview after the election, both said that the results were unexpected because the other candidates were really good too.

There were 3 parties to choose from: 'The Ocean', 'The Aimers', and 'The Students' Voice'. The campaign lasted for about one week and the candidates were able to campaign in the assembly and in each of the Secondary and Junior College classes. 

Out of the total 150 votes cast, 75 went to the Aimers, 68 to the Ocean Party, and the rest went to the Students' Voice Party. 

As Ingrit, the newly elected SC President, put it, 'This year, we want to do the events we used to have before the pandemic and just add more this time. We also hope that this year's Student Council will be better than those of the  previous years.'

The Aimers won on a platform of a 'Return to Normalcy after the Pandemic' and their main campaign focused on having more onsite events, which has brought excitement to students, especially that the school had just opened for the onsite set-up.

This year's set of SC officers will be guided by Ms. Teresa Samson, their Advisor.
