Campuses

Culture

Since it was first established in 2001, BBS adopts a Singaporean-style Cambridge program for its education. On top of English as the language of instruction, BBS also teaches Chinese language as a second language, as well as Bahasa Indonesia.

Today, BBS is the leading culturally Chinese school in Indonesia, with emphasis on cultural preservation and studies. Students are encouraged to celebrate their Chinese heritage through various on-campus activities, such as co-curricular activities (CCAs). An example of this is the school’s Chinese Orchestra, who performed for the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.
