Fifteen students accompanied by 4 teachers spent their Saturday to visit residents of Rusunawa Cakung and delivered the oranges. They greeted them respectfully and wished them good health as they passed the oranges to them.

At the same time, they were also asked to observe:

• What facilities are there in Rumah Susun Sederhana Sewa?
• Compare Rumah Susun and apartemen di Jakarta. What are similarities and differences?
• There are children living in Rusunawa. What activities can these childrn do there?

The students shared their observations on the trip back from the Rusunawa. It was heartening to hear their observations: there were parking space for motorbikes, shops, pets (chickens, cats) in front of some houses. They noticed there was not elevator/lift in Rusunawa. They shared that a playground would be good for children living in Rusunawa. It is our hope that this trip will open their eyes to see opportunities in making this world a better place.
